We quickly learned when starting our business that the language of finances, and the associated taxes, are entirely different than personal financial language. Every business decides what to tackle on their own and what to out-source. We are so thankful to our friends and colleagues who have shared their knowledge and recommendations with us! We are also grateful for our professional accountants (Leigh, Carol and Robin, you ROCK).

Did you know a portion of your tax dollars support an organization which provides free and low cost resources to help small businesses prosper? The Denver Small Business Development Center is an amazing resource that helps entrepreneurs as they launch and grow their businesses. Check out the SBDC whether you're considering starting a business or have been running your company for a few years. And if you need some quick links to business tax sites (federal, state, city), they've got those too.

On this tax deadline day, hug your accountants and bookkeepers - even if it's a self-hug.
